meet the host
Cynthia Marks
Cynthia Marks is the host of And Now Love, a podcast created to continue the life's work and legacy of her late husband, Dr. Bernard Bail.

Cynthia's Story

Cynthia met Dr. Bail later in life, when she was 56 and he was 92. What began as an unexpected love story became a profound partnership rooted in healing, purpose, and the belief that love has the power to transform lives. Before his passing, Cynthia made a promise to help carry his message forward.
Through And Now Love, Cynthia brings warmth, curiosity, and deep humanity to conversations about love, dreams, trauma, healing, motherhood, service, and the unconscious forces that shape who we become. While Cynthia is not a clinician, she serves as a thoughtful guide and bridge between Dr. Bail's psychoanalytic work and the real stories of people, organizations, and communities working to heal the world around them.

As host, Cynthia invites guests to speak honestly about their lives, their work, and the moments that shaped them. Her role is to listen with care, ask meaningful questions, and help uncover the deeper threads of love, pain, resilience, and transformation within each story.
Cynthia's Guiding Belief
at the heart of Cynthia's work
Love is not just an idea. It is an active force — one that can help us understand ourselves, repair what has been wounded, and create a more compassionate future.
